The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Deden Kaunang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Waroeti FC's Datuk Nataprawira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadhil Darussalam in the 8th minute of play. Djalil Hendrayana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincentius Mustari made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Djalil Hendrayana sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Warsidi Afiffudin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincentius Mustari. Warsidi Afiffudin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 20 played minutes Moealang FC got a freekick which was hit by Fadhil Darussalam. When Gungun Amrizal came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Waroeti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gungun Amrizal couldn't finish the play. Todung Apriantara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warsidi Afiffudin in the 29th minute of play forced Moealang FC's goalkeeper Vincentius Mustari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moealang FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aji Muntu hit a great ball. When Gungun Amrizal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Waroeti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gungun Amrizal couldn't finish the play. After having played for 35 minutes, Deden Kaunang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waroeti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deden Kaunang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djalil Hendrayana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Djalil Hendrayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Datuk Nataprawira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todung Apriantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gungun Amrizal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincentius Mustari was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Deden Kaunang came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vincentius Mustari could save by the left post. In the 48th minute, Gungun Amrizal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincentius Mustari was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Warsidi Afiffudin made the kick off in the second half. If Djalil Hendrayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Datuk Nataprawira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aji Muntu in the 65th minute. Deden Kaunang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vincentius Mustari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Djalil Hendrayana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waroeti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Djalil Hendrayana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincentius Mustari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Gungun Amrizal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincentius Mustari was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Warsidi Afiffudin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Waroeti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warsidi Afiffudin couldn't finish the play. Waroeti FC's Djalil Hendrayana got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Djalil Hendrayana struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vincentius Mustari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waroeti FC. In the 81st minute Deden Kaunang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincentius Mustari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincentius Mustari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gungun Amrizal in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moealang FC's Aji Muntu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Deden Kaunang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincentius Mustari having to make a save. In the 89thth minute of the game Warsidi Afiffudin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moealang FC's Vincentius Mustari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Meggy Sugandi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waroeti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moealang FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Waroeti FC's Meggy Sugandi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Todung Apriantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Datuk Nataprawira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Soeprapto could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Datuk Nataprawira however easily saved by the left post. Deden Kaunang scored 5-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincentius Mustari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Waroeti FC had played much better football throughout.
