Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Katon Juhana started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Katon Juhana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julianda Tuheteru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Achyar Baso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Musa Muntu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alwi Renata during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dudung Saroge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achyar Baso in the 15th minute of play forced Bali United's goalkeeper Musa Muntu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramlan Mamahit hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dudung Saroge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Musa Muntu made a huge save. Dudung Saroge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Musa Muntu having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Achyar Baso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSB Batumoito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achyar Baso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Achyar Baso put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Musa Muntu. After 31 minutes, Yoppie Linggawarman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSB Batumoito and the Bali United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of PSB Batumoito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bali United:s goal. Julianda Tuheteru had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Tora Saroge's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julianda Tuheteru came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bali United's Tora Saroge. But to his dismay, Tora Saroge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Bali United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Katon Juhana hit a great ball. Dudung Saroge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Musa Muntu made a huge save. Alwi Renata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julianda Tuheteru having to make a save. Julianda Tuheteru came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Bali United's Ruslan Mega. But to his dismay, Ruslan Mega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Musa Muntu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achyar Baso in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achyar Baso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Katon Juhana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julianda Tuheteru having to interfere. A collision led to PSB Batumoito getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Robyg Sudarman hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, one of PSB Batumoito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julianda Tuheteru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Katon Juhana in the 61st minute of the match. Ruslan Mega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dudung Saroge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Musa Muntu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Achyar Baso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Bali United got a freekick which was hit by Tora Saroge. 79 minutes into the match, PSB Batumoito's Yoppie Linggawarman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Musa Muntu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruslan Mega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bali United's Alwi Renata got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Dudung Saroge came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the PSB Batumoito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudung Saroge couldn't finish the play. Dudung Saroge kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Bali United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bali United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
