Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Merapo's Awan Kalla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes of play, Pongangan FC's Ponaryo Poerwonegoro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ikin Karundeng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ikin Karundeng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vennard Supriadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Koko Ohee was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Merapo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Merapo's zone, Vennard Supriadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ikin Karundeng came out of the goal and Vennard Supriadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigiusz Grunwalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remigiusz Grunwalski struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ikin Karundeng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pongangan FC. When Budiman Hasudungan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pongangan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Budiman Hasudungan couldn't finish the play. The Pongangan FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Pongangan FC's Remigiusz Grunwalski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Budiman Hasudungan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ikin Karundeng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Merapo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ansyari Mustari hit a great ball. When Pongangan FC's Remigiusz Grunwalski in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merapo's goalie prevented a goal. Guguh Sofyan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

In the 50th minute, M. Andik Suartama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vennard Supriadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ikin Karundeng came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pongangan FC's Mathias De Weerd. But to his dismay, Mathias De Weerd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramdhan Febrian during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Merapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramdhan Febrian to maneuver through the defense. Merapo's Ikin Karundeng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Merapo from getting a goal against them. Vennard Supriadi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ikin Karundeng firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 76 minutes of play, Pongangan FC's Vennard Supriadi made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ikin Karundeng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ikin Karundeng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Budiman Hasudungan in the 81st minute of the match. With his leg Ikin Karundeng managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Pongangan FC's Remigiusz Grunwalski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Vennard Supriadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pongangan FC's Raden Sukmara was substituted for Budiman Hasudungan. 87 minutes into the match, Merapo's goalkeeper Ikin Karundeng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigiusz Grunwalski. 89 minutes into the match, Merapo's goal looked a bit too open when Fauzi Pradnyana came free, but Ikin Karundeng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vennard Supriadi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pongangan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vennard Supriadi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Raden Sukmara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pongangan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raden Sukmara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ikin Karundeng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Pongangan FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merapo throughout the match.
