In the 10th minute of the match reds devils got a corner. PSM Djaga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boaz De Fretes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Boaz De Fretes made a great header on reds devils's corner, it was just that PSM Djaga's Deni Sutimbul managed to reach the ball for a save. Teddy Sopandi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wahab Wanggai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Deni Sutimbul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arul Budiarto to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, reds devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randy Syukur to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arul Budiarto in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deni Sutimbul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deni Sutimbul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arul Budiarto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy Sopandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jendry Birawa having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Randy Syukur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the reds devils and the PSM Djaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. PSM Djaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wahab Wanggai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 80 minutes, Hesky Harianto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the reds devils and the PSM Djaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Teddy Sopandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSM Djaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Sopandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jendry Birawa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PSM Djaga's Teddy Sopandi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
