In the 18th minute Zahran Siregar suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 19 minutes, Hendrawan Panggabean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asimiro and the GUSLIEF FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Asimiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GUSLIEF FC:s goal. Deni Solossa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Asimiro's Cakra Kartawidjaja. But to his dismay, Cakra Kartawidjaja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Asimiro's Zainal Laturua got a free kick in the 29th minute. Otong Mursadat struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jajang Karaeng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUSLIEF FC. Gandung Siswanto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deni Solossa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gandung Siswanto ran back to his position shaking his head. Aples Winar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Otong Mursadat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Aples Winar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jajang Karaeng. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. Gandung Siswanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deni Solossa having to interfere. Jajang Karaeng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otong Mursadat in the 95th minute of the match. The GUSLIEF FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
