After the first half Haufoo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jojo Tutuarima to strike the kick off in the second half. Kiki Harianto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jojo Tutuarima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Haufoo's Yosef Lelono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiki Harianto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiki Harianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jojo Tutuarima in the 66th minute of play. Yosef Lelono struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. The referee ignored PSP Awoeliki's protests and gave Ridho Manuputty a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PSP Awoeliki's Ridho Manuputty got a free kick in the 70th minute. Eman Risandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Haufoo's goal looked a bit too open when Eman Risandi came free, but Pance Haddad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Haufoo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Haufoo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
