HİSAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Şakir Okcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Christian Martxelin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Portugal booed when HİSAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şansal Pekdeger didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 31st minute of play forced HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şansal Pekdeger made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Güvenç Deveci however managed to control. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HİSAR.
