The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stevanus Prakoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mamiek Saputra having to interfere. Mamiek Saputra made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Leysus Himawan sent off a good shot on target. From close distance Leysus Himawan pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 10 minutes into the game. The audience was convinced that Stevanus Prakoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mamiek Saputra was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Leysus Himawan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Claymore's Mamiek Saputra. Mamiek Saputra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FONGIE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Indra Rumere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Leysus Himawan scored 4-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mamiek Saputra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FC Claymore's Mamiek Saputra got control of the ball when Leysus Himawan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marwal Arisandy made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, FONGIE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romi Sandiaji to maneuver through the defense. Mamiek Saputra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stevanus Prakoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leysus Himawan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mamiek Saputra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leysus Himawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gandung Rahardjo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Indra Rumere sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Stevanus Prakoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FONGIE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Stevanus Prakoso scored 6-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mamiek Saputra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th match minute, FONGIE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Irwansyah to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Gandung Rahardjo managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when FC Claymore's Indra Rumere fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Claymore's Mamiek Saputra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevanus Prakoso in the 83rd minute of play. Leysus Himawan struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mamiek Saputra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FONGIE. 91 minutes into the match, FONGIE's Stevanus Prakoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mamiek Saputra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Leysus Himawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Stevanus Prakoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mamiek Saputra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
