Mansyur Kusumadilaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adi Bangun, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Armand Purwanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mansyur Kusumadilaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Radja Suartama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSI Likoean and the BTHON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, PSI Likoean was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radja Suartama to maneuver through the defense. Adi Bangun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansyur Kusumadilaga having to interfere. Widodo Katehokang struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ardha Sitepu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSI Likoean.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Widodo Katehokang made a kick off. After 53 minutes BTHON FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roy Lelono who took care of the corner kick. Mansyur Kusumadilaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adi Bangun in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Fance Haryono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSI Likoean's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fance Haryono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BTHON FC's zone, Widodo Katehokang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardha Sitepu came out of the goal and Widodo Katehokang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, PSI Likoean's Mansyur Kusumadilaga got control of the ball when Armand Purwanto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Roy Lelono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSI Likoean's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Lelono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of PSI Likoean booed when BTHON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adjat Simangunsong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, BTHON FC's Adi Bangun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thoyib Jatnika in the 82nd minute of play forced BTHON FC's goalkeeper Ardha Sitepu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, BTHON FC's Adi Bangun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mansyur Kusumadilaga. Mansyur Kusumadilaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Widodo Katehokang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fance Haryono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ardha Sitepu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fance Haryono in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BTHON FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
