In the 10th minute Panda Arkananta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joni Rangkuti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joni Rangkuti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panda Arkananta in the 12th minute of play. Asdi Rinaldi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jamal Pangaribuan sent off a good shot on target. Joni Rangkuti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ojat Tanujaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Asdi Rinaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Putra Ponrang players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Onggunoi FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panda Arkananta to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Onggunoi FC's Panda Arkananta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joni Rangkuti. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. Ojat Tanujaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Joni Rangkuti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Onggunoi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Pangaribuan came free, but Asdi Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Onggunoi FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zulfadli Ekodono hit a great ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Putra Ponrang's goalkeeper Joni Rangkuti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joni Rangkuti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panda Arkananta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Putra Ponrang's Jamal Pangaribuan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Jamal Pangaribuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onggunoi FC's Asdi Rinaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joni Rangkuti made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Panda Arkananta sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Ojat Tanujaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panda Arkananta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Putra Ponrang's Jamal Pangaribuan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asdi Rinaldi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joni Rangkuti made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ojat Tanujaya sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Putra Ponrang getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Anthony Garmana hit a great ball. Panda Arkananta struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Joni Rangkuti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onggunoi FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Onggunoi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
