In the 18th match minute, Laskar Rebahan United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Musadeq to maneuver through the defense. Iswadi Aksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chandra Rupawan having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match, Hasan Hutauruk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chandra Rupawan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chandra Rupawan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Hutauruk in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Immanuel Songgonau during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Iswadi Aksan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute of the game Immanuel Songgonau made a throw-in which Rudi Musadeq played forward. When Kobis FC's Hasan Hutauruk in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was Singgih Nadeak who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Trisno Taufiqurrahman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasan Hutauruk to strike the kick off in the second half. Raka Mulia charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chandra Rupawan came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kobis FC's Iswadi Aksan. But to his dismay, Iswadi Aksan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Laskar Rebahan United's Lamhot Tanzier in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kobis FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute, Wempy Jatnika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Laskar Rebahan United's zone, Nyangnyang Yudhoyono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chandra Rupawan came out of the goal and Nyangnyang Yudhoyono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Nyangnyang Yudhoyono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Nyangnyang Yudhoyono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chandra Rupawan. Laskar Rebahan United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nyangnyang Yudhoyono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Chandra Rupawan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Hutauruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Laskar Rebahan United defense, Hasan Hutauruk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chandra Rupawan. The Laskar Rebahan United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chandra Rupawan should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Yudho Jeliteng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chandra Rupawan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Immanuel Songgonau was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Immanuel Songgonau kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Chandra Rupawan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Hutauruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laskar Rebahan United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
