Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Raihan Prayoga made the kick off and thus started the match. Kurniawan Sitorus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adar Wiranatakusumah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponirin Sarwono took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurniawan Sitorus. Kurniawan Sitorus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sparta FC's Ponirin Sarwono got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gery Mujahidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kurniawan Sitorus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Mujahidin in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Sparta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marwal Solihin came free, but Syauqi Manusama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurniawan Sitorus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gery Mujahidin in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Gery Mujahidin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Sitorus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurniawan Sitorus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponirin Sarwono in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Klotjing's goal looked a bit too open when Gery Mujahidin came free, but Kurniawan Sitorus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raihan Prayoga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Gery Mujahidin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Klotjing's Kurniawan Sitorus. Kurniawan Sitorus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raihan Prayoga in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Syauqi Manusama saved Sparta FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Marwal Solihin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sparta FC's Syauqi Manusama. Syauqi Manusama was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ponirin Sarwono hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Kurniawan Sitorus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Mujahidin in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Klotjing defense, Gery Mujahidin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurniawan Sitorus. The Klotjing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurniawan Sitorus should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes, Yayat Sopandi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparta FC and the Klotjing players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Sparta FC got a freekick which was hit by Yayat Sopandi. Sparta FC's Syauqi Manusama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parto Sahertian in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ponirin Sarwono was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raihan Prayoga in the 51st minute of play forced Sparta FC's goalkeeper Syauqi Manusama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parto Sahertian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Marwal Solihin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Syauqi Manusama was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. With a little luck, Klotjing's Kurniawan Sitorus got control of the ball when Gery Mujahidin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marwal Solihin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klotjing's supporters rose to their feet, but Marwal Solihin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Syauqi Manusama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, Sparta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adar Wiranatakusumah to maneuver through the defense. Parto Sahertian's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Syauqi Manusama on his right side and into the goal. 64 minutes into the game it was 3-3. In the 71st minute Ponirin Sarwono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Sitorus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Yayat Sopandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdy Mahmudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Syauqi Manusama having to interfere. Gery Mujahidin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurniawan Sitorus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kahar Raweyai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Syauqi Manusama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gery Mujahidin got free with Kurniawan Sitorus in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ponirin Sarwono might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurniawan Sitorus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ponirin Sarwono ran back to his position shaking his head. Kurniawan Sitorus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gery Mujahidin in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Klotjing's Raihan Prayoga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Syauqi Manusama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Sparta FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
