After 45 played minutes Ponirin Sarwono rounded Akedabo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agus Tampubolon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dudan Prasnanto's late challenge caught a Akedabo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudan Prasnanto helped the player get up and apologised. Ganjar Wardaya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Syauqi Manusama. Sparta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
