Zaini Rantung started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Flamengo's Gerasim Panchenko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerasim Panchenko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Flamengo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerasim Panchenko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gerasim Panchenko hit a great ball. If Aureliano Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yandi Sihotang charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yandi Sihotang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flamengo's Banyak Bacot was substituted for Roko Samsøe. After 13 played minutes Sarungan FC got a freekick which was hit by Yandi Sihotang. Flamengo's 沈常泉 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edyana Amrizal in the 18th minute of play. Aureliano Frederik took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eka Durahman. Eka Durahman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Aureliano Frederik came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Frederik couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Frederik might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eka Durahman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Frederik ran back to his position shaking his head. 沈常泉 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edyana Amrizal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Sarungan FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Abuy Solihin hit a great ball. When Datuk Kosasih fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Datuk Kosasih a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Datuk Kosasih to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Aureliano Frederik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Sandy Tobing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Frederik to strike the kick off in the second half. Eka Durahman came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Aureliano Frederik. But to his dismay, Aureliano Frederik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aureliano Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eka Durahman having to interfere. Flamengo made a substitution. Leonard Bramantio replaced Ishaq Sambuaga. Flamengo made a substitution. Bengt Hermansson replaced Sandy Tobing. 75 minutes into the match, Sarungan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Frederik came free, but Eka Durahman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Flamengo's Aureliano Frederik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eka Durahman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 79 played minutes Sarungan FC got a freekick which was hit by Abuy Solihin. Aureliano Frederik took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eka Durahman. Eka Durahman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Yoyo Wijatmiko fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Yoyo Wijatmiko a yellow card for diving instead. Yoyo Wijatmiko kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarungan FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo.
