Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ponirin Sarwono in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guguh Napitupulu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gery Mujahidin in the 6th minute of play forced Taraudu FC's goalkeeper Guguh Napitupulu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Syauqi Manusama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Widhie Habib in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Widhie Habib in the 18th minute of play forced Sparta FC's goalkeeper Syauqi Manusama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ponirin Sarwono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guguh Napitupulu. Taraudu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ponirin Sarwono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. M. Ichwan Sunarya kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Taraudu FC's Hamdani Mamuaya took a good shot, in the 27th minute, which hit the crossbar above Syauqi Manusama's head, and flew over the goal. Sparta FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Taraudu FC. 46 minutes into the match, Sparta FC's Ponirin Sarwono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guguh Napitupulu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponirin Sarwono in the 47th minute of play forced Taraudu FC's goalkeeper Guguh Napitupulu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ponirin Sarwono was the one to do the kick off. Ponirin Sarwono's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Guguh Napitupulu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sparta FC's Ponirin Sarwono got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Gery Mujahidin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guguh Napitupulu. Gery Mujahidin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Widhie Habib in the 77th minute of play forced Sparta FC's goalkeeper Syauqi Manusama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gery Mujahidins short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Guguh Napitupulu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81st minute, Widhie Habib made a precise shot to the right of Syauqi Manusama. Sparta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Syauqi Manusama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Widhie Habib went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Sparta FC's Jeffry Tampubolon pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 91 minutes into the match, Taraudu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ponirin Sarwono came free, but Guguh Napitupulu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taraudu FC had won after a very even match.
