Nandang Abidin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Tanzil in the 3rd minute of play. Ulrico Gonzales made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Yatna Sutimbul sent off a good shot on target. If Yatna Sutimbul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HGPM FC's Nandang Abidin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Tanzil in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Putra Lemanbang. Ade Khaidir stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nandang Abidin. 0-1. Nandang Abidin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Tanzil, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yayan Darwis during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yayan Darwis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Anak Agung Sopacua did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ulrico Gonzales 26 minutes into the match. Charles Tanzil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nandang Abidin having to make a save. Charles Tanzil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nandang Abidin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Yatna Sutimbul made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of HGPM FC booed when Putra Lemanbang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Tanzil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Putra Lemanbang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wendy Pitono to maneuver through the defense. Anak Agung Sopacua took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrico Gonzales. Ulrico Gonzales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Putra Lemanbang's Wendy Pitono got a free kick in the 95th minute. HGPM FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
