Juata FC's Max Pane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anak Agung Sopacua in the 22nd minute of play. The Juata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Pane should have stopped the shot. Anak Agung Sopacua scored 1-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Pane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Anak Agung Sopacua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Max Pane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Max Pane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yatna Sutimbul in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakti Darmuis made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bustanil Soeprapto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nandang Abidin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Max Pane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yatna Sutimbul in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juata FC's Fitrah Maspaitella got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Yatna Sutimbul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Pane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HGPM FC. The Juata FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. HGPM FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
