I Made Priyatno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayeng Sawali in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jayeng Sawali was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Jayeng Sawali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of I Made Priyatno. Garuda Indonesia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jayeng Sawali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Håkan Mild took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for I Made Priyatno. Garuda Indonesia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Danang Simanjuntak charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danang Simanjuntak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alwi Siahaan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for I Made Priyatno. Garuda Indonesia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Danang Simanjuntak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garuda Indonesia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Igor Solecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garuda Indonesia FC. When Archie Katz fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putra Riunggunung's protests and gave Archie Katz a yellow card for diving instead. Archie Katz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garuda Indonesia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Putra Riunggunung.
