Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Urruti in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Knopek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugon Knopek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Urruti in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muchlas Sutisna in the 30th minute of play forced Jakarta Wanderers FC's goalkeeper Leszek Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jakarta Wanderers FC from getting a goal against them. Luis Urruti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hugon Knopek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bima Lasut lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 45th minute, one of Jakarta Wanderers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jakarta Wanderers FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luke Skywalker to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Muchlas Sutisna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Kuntet Arbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Knopek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luke Skywalker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Knopek having to make a save. Luke Skywalker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hugon Knopek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Nono Jatnika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Going to SuperLeague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jakarta Wanderers FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Nono Jatnika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Luke Skywalker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugon Knopek. Jakarta Wanderers FC's Luke Skywalker got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luke Skywalker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Jakarta Wanderers FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hugon Knopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Skywalker in the 73rd minute of the match. Endi Pulalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Skywalker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Knopek having to interfere. Luis Urruti kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nono Jatnika in the 84th minute of play. Leszek Laba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaini Kusdianto in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Zaini Kusdianto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba. Leszek Laba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nadjib Aksan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ridho Latupono took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leszek Laba. Jakarta Wanderers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nuriana Budiono charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuriana Budiono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
