Luke Skywalker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zahran Kusnaeni came free, but Leszek Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Putra Praikalogu got a freekick which was hit by Primus Kusnaeni. After a rather tough play, Putra Praikalogu's Marzuki Kusudiarjo got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Luke Skywalker came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Jakarta Wanderers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Skywalker couldn't finish the play. Max Wiryodiprojo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leszek Laba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zahran Kusnaeni's late challenge caught a Jakarta Wanderers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zahran Kusnaeni helped the player get up and apologised. 21 minutes into the match, Putra Praikalogu's goalkeeper Kiki Wilza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Urruti. After 22 played minutes Putra Praikalogu got a freekick which was hit by Max Wiryodiprojo. In the 22nd match minute, Jakarta Wanderers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuntet Arbi to maneuver through the defense. Leszek Laba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primus Kusnaeni's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Asmadi Tuheteru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leszek Laba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primus Kusnaeni in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leszek Laba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mansyur Sitepu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jakarta Wanderers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Putra Praikalogu were winning 0-1.

With a little luck, Jakarta Wanderers FC's Leszek Laba got control of the ball when Primus Kusnaeni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leszek Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahran Kusnaeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dasep Sitanggang hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Putra Praikalogu's Primus Kusnaeni got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leszek Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahran Kusnaeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Putra Praikalogu's Asmadi Tuheteru to fire away a dangerous shot which Leszek Laba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jakarta Wanderers FC's goalkeeper Leszek Laba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leszek Laba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primus Kusnaeni in the 76th minute of play. Primus Kusnaeni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Leszek Laba made a huge save. If Luis Urruti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jakarta Wanderers FC's zone, Zahran Kusnaeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leszek Laba came out of the goal and Zahran Kusnaeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putra Praikalogu played a much better game than Jakarta Wanderers FC and deserved their victory. The Jakarta Wanderers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
