Saibouw FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zulfadli Kamajaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Leimena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Eros Saroge made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardimen Rumangkit in the 20th minute of play forced Saibouw FC's goalkeeper Miftah Kartolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eros Saroge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joni Nurpijal in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Hardimen Rumangkit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miftah Kartolo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Saibouw FC's Miftah Kartolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Husin Suminta in the 25th minute of play. Djaduk Fabanyo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zulfadli Kamajaya during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Husin Suminta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miftah Kartolo having to interfere. Miftah Kartolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Husin Suminta in the 39th minute of the match. Husin Suminta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Husin Suminta to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joni Nurpijal in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eros Saroge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miftah Kartolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hardimen Rumangkit in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Djaduk Fabanyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Aldri Anhar from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Miftah Kartolo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 63 played minutes, Marancar's Rexy Tirtayasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miftah Kartolo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marancar reached it. When Felix Leimena fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saibouw FC's protests and gave Felix Leimena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Unno Subagio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Husin Suminta fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marancar's protests and gave Husin Suminta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Marancar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Husin Suminta to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes, Lukman Rupawan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saibouw FC and the Marancar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joni Nurpijal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eros Saroge having to interfere. Joni Nurpijal struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eros Saroge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saibouw FC. The supporters of Saibouw FC booed when Marancar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. I Gusti Masengi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hardimen Rumangkit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
