The Sleman Old Boys fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Sleman Old Boys's Ahmet Korkut Savaş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lelo Tanjung who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Péter Gulácsi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sleman Old Boys's Agil Tuheteru got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Ellie Bahalwan came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pare-Kediri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ellie Bahalwan couldn't finish the play. Péter Gulácsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Affan Auri in the 26th minute of play. Massimo Margiotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sleman Old Boys made a substitution. Eri Witarya replaced Agil Tuheteru. After a rather tough play, Pare-Kediri FC's Lelo Tanjung got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Pare-Kediri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfullah Ağırtaş came free, but Emílio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Seyfullah Ağırtaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emílio Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ahmet Korkut Savaş fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sleman Old Boys's protests and gave Ahmet Korkut Savaş a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lelo Tanjung made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Affan Auri in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Péter Gulácsi saved Sleman Old Boys from getting behind. Péter Gulácsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lelo Tanjung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sleman Old Boys's Péter Gulácsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Affan Auri in the 78th minute of play. Emílio Vale was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Ahmet Korkut Savaş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Korkut Savaş really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 83 minutes into the match, Sleman Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Affan Auri came free, but Péter Gulácsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Vale made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ahmet Korkut Savaş sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Korkut Savaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Vale having to interfere. Péter Gulácsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lelo Tanjung in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sleman Old Boys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
