Black Pink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarzan Love in the 8th minute of the match. Black Pink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viesturs Visockis in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Suryo Sobarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Hardy Karaeng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Druvvaldis Bitēns in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Black Pink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Giant booed when Mojokerto City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suryo Sobarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Giant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dindin Irianto to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Mojokerto City's goalkeeper Umberto Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pendekar Cinta. Black Pink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viesturs Visockis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Marinho made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Hardy Karaeng sent off a good shot on target. Viesturs Visockis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mojokerto City booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dindin Irianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Pink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtzi Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Utte Harahap to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Giant got a corner. Mojokerto City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pendekar Cinta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Giant's Pendekar Cinta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Umberto Marinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Mojokerto City's goal looked a bit too open when Hardy Karaeng came free, but Umberto Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viesturs Visockis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Black Pink skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Adnan Hartono fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giant's protests and gave Adnan Hartono a yellow card for diving instead. Adnan Hartono kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Suryo Sobarna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mojokerto City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giant the free kick. Suryo Sobarna hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Hardy Karaeng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Pink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Druvvaldis Bitēns in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zaki Supardi during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mojokerto City booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaki Supardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giant's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
