But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitri De Rijck couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Greencard's Tora Suarlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiz Artealde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dimitri De Rijck in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nanang Wardhana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitri De Rijck got free with Nanang Wardhana in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitri De Rijck struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nanang Wardhana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Gurame Bakar. After a defensive mix-up in PS Gurame Bakar's zone, Immanuel Mandias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiz Artealde came out of the goal and Immanuel Mandias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tora Suarlan made the kick off in the second half. Dimitri De Rijck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nanang Wardhana having to make a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Dimitri De Rijck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Gurame Bakar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri De Rijck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri De Rijck in the 61st minute of play forced Greencard's goalkeeper Nanang Wardhana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Greencard's zone, Dimitri De Rijck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nanang Wardhana came out of the goal and Dimitri De Rijck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Greencard's Suryo Nurpijal was substituted for Sukri Saepuloh. When Dimitri De Rijck fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Gurame Bakar's protests and gave Dimitri De Rijck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PS Gurame Bakar getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dimitri De Rijck hit a great ball. PS Gurame Bakar's Farhan Syarifudin was substituted for Tomas Figueroa. After 72 played minutes PS Gurame Bakar got a freekick which was hit by Dimitri De Rijck. Nanang Wardhana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tono Ekodono in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tora Suarlan in the 76th minute of play forced PS Gurame Bakar's goalkeeper Fiz Artealde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greencard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tono Ekodono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tono Ekodono in the 92nd minute of play forced Greencard's goalkeeper Nanang Wardhana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greencard's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
