The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Petruescu got free with Joélson Domingues in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joélson Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Ang Ying in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Lucky Star booed when PS Banyuwangi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sansan Fingkreuw didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Dominggus Maulana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobur Barenz in the 50th minute of play. Elano Salgado came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucky Star's Silas Caro. But to his dismay, Silas Caro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 59 minutes, Sobur Barenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Banyuwangi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobur Barenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silas Caro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Elano Salgado made a huge save. Albert Petruescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Daryana, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, PS Banyuwangi's Mathias Daryana got a free kick in the 70th minute. PS Banyuwangi made a substitution. Harun Gumulya replaced Mathias Daryana. The PS Banyuwangi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lucky Star had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
