Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Trần Van Tai Em got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Hoa Binh getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hồ Nam hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Nguyễn Tu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hoa Binh's Lê Tuan Hoang didn't even have to move. Nguyễn Van Quyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lê Tuan Hoang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Van Quyen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lê Tuan Hoang. Hoa Binh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Van Quyen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 31st match minute, Hoa Binh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Lê Van Quyen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hanoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Van Quyen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Đặng Tran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hanoi's goalkeeper Trần Tuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Hanoi got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Phuoc. Nguyễn Tuan took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trần Tuan. Trần Tuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
The wind increased when Đặng Tran made the kick off in the second half. Trần Tuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tuan in the 54th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Nguyễn Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hanoi's Trần Tuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Đặng Tran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoa Binh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 80th minute, Phan Lam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Hanoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tu to maneuver through the defense. Phan Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hoa Binh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hanoi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
