Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trần Loc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tuyen Quang's Lê Bien got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nguyễn Hong fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyen Quang's protests and gave Nguyễn Hong a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mui Ne booed when Tuyen Quang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mui Ne's Hồ Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Phuoc in the 8th minute of play. Mui Ne's Hồ Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Phuoc in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Bien got free with Hồ Tho in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lê Phuoc struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hồ Tho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuyen Quang. Hồ Tho stood somewhat misplaced when Lê Phuoc came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Phuoc in the 29th minute of play forced Mui Ne's goalkeeper Hồ Tho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Mui Ne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Loc didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Mui Ne's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phuoc came free, but Hồ Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuyen Quang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mui Ne the free kick. Vương Minh-ha hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Lê Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
In the 54th minute, Lê Phuoc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Loc's late challenge caught a Tuyen Quang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trần Loc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Mui Ne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Loc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hồ Tho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Phuoc in the 59th minute of the match. Tuyen Quang's Vương Minh-ha suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 78 played minutes Mui Ne got a freekick which was hit by Trần Loc. Mui Ne's Trần Loc got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Trần Loc off the ground. Trần Loc kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Lê Bien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hồ Tho having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tuyen Quang fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mui Ne had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
