Nguyễn Mai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Nguyễn Cadeo made a precise shot to the right of Phan Lan. Mui Ne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Phan Binh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Nam, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Lê Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phan Binh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lê Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Mui Ne's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Mai came free, but Phan Lan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Mai scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phan Lan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dong Xam's Phan Binh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Dong Xam from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Mai in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phan Lan saved Mui Ne from getting behind. Mui Ne's Phan Lan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Mai in the 61st minute of play. Nguyễn Cadeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phan Lan having to make a save. When Nguyễn Hieu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dong Xam's protests and gave Nguyễn Hieu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dong Xam's Nguyễn Hieu got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dong Xam's zone, Lê Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phan Binh came out of the goal and Lê Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Nguyễn Hoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Dong Xam's Nguyễn Cadeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phan Lan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Trần Nam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Phan Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lê Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mui Ne's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Binh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nguyễn Mai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Mai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Phan Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
