Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Dong made the kick off which started today's match. Tan An's Lê Thi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Phuoc in the 2nd minute of play. When Lê Phuoc came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Viet Tri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Phuoc couldn't finish the play. Phan Phuoc struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Phan Phuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tan An. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Dong in the 8th minute of play forced Viet Tri's goalkeeper Phan Phuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phan Phuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phan Phuoc in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Dong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phan Phuc. Viet Tri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Dong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lê Thi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đặng Duy in the 20th minute of play. Đặng Duy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Phan Quang Thanh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phan Quang Thanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lê Thi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lê Thi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Đặng Duy's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Tan An's Phạm Van Tai Em got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Nguyễn Dong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Dong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phan Phuc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đặng Duy to strike the kick off in the second half. Phan Quang Thanh took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Thi. Lê Thi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Đặng Duy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tan An getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Phạm Van Tai Em hit a great ball. Phan Phuoc struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Viet Tri's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nguyễn Dong 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đặng Duy in the 72nd minute of play forced Tan An's goalkeeper Lê Thi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Phan Phuoc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Phan Phuc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lê Nam charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lê Nam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Viet Tri's Lê Nam got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Viet Tri's Phan Phuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Dong in the 83rd minute of play. Tan An's Phạm Van Tai Em pulled a muscle in his back after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Viet Tri getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lê Nam hit a great ball. Phan Phuoc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phan Phuc having to make a save. The Tan An supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tan An would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
