With a little luck, Viet Tri's Phan Phuc got control of the ball when Hoàng Cuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Võ Hoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đặng Duy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phạm Thien in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Võ Hoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đặng Duy, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
