Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Hoang started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Nguyễn Hoang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pleiku's Mai Thi Ngoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pleiku's zone, Hoàng Hieu Ngan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mai Thi Ngoc came out of the goal and Hoàng Hieu Ngan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Nhihuy0601's Nguyễn Hoang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mai Thi Ngoc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pleiku's Mai Thi Ngoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hoang in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Nhihuy0601's Hoàng Hieu Ngan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mai Thi Ngoc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Nguyễn Van Quyen came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pleiku fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Van Quyen couldn't finish the play. Hoàng Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mai Thi Ngoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Thuyet made a kick off. Nguyễn Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mai Thi Ngoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Phạm Thanh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pleiku's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nhihuy0601 the free kick. Phạm Thanh hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Nguyễn Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nhihuy0601's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hoàng Hieu Ngan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Phạm Thanh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Lan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mai Thi Ngoc having to interfere. Hoàng Hieu Ngan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mai Thi Ngoc made a huge save. The supporters of Nhihuy0601 booed when Pleiku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Van Quyen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Hoàng Hieu Ngan made a precise shot to the right of Mai Thi Ngoc. Pleiku's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lê Lan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phạm Thanh in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Hoàng Hieu Ngan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 91st minute, Nguyễn Hoang fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nguyễn Thuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lê Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nhihuy0601 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
