Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lương Xuan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Nguyễn Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bac Lieu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Duc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chung Thanh Bình breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Nguyễn Nam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Binh Phuoc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nguyễn Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Chung Thanh Bình tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chung Thanh Bình didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lương Xuan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Cong Vinh charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Cong Vinh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bac Lieu booed when Binh Phuoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Cong Vinh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lương Xuan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chung Thanh Bình prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute of the match Lương Xuan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chung Thanh Bình skillfully saved the ball. Nguyễn Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tạ Tuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes in the game, Nguyễn Nam fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lê Nguyet having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Binh Phuoc's Nguyễn Nam made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lê Nguyet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Nam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Nguyet having to interfere. If Lương Xuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Binh Phuoc's zone, Nguyễn Duc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chung Thanh Bình came out of the goal and Nguyễn Duc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Binh Phuoc's goal looked a bit too open when Lương Xuan came free, but Chung Thanh Bình reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chung Thanh Bình showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lương Xuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tạ Tuan to make the kick off. Trần Tho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Tạ Tuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lê Nguyet. Bac Lieu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tạ Tuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Chung Thanh Bình made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lương Xuan in the 62nd minute. Chung Thanh Bình made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lương Xuan in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Lieu's zone, Nguyễn Nam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Nguyet came out of the goal and Nguyễn Nam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Tạ Tuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lê Nguyet was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Nguyễn Nam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Nguyet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Chung Thanh Bình tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bac Lieu's Lương Xuan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Binh Phuoc's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Binh Phuoc's goalkeeper Chung Thanh Bình, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bac Lieu's Lương Xuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chung Thanh Bình. That made the score 3-2 after 86 minutes of play. Tạ Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lê Nguyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Lương Xuan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nguyễn Duc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Chung Thanh Bình made a huge save. In the 96th minute Bac Lieu were awarded a corner. Nguyễn Van Tai Em went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bac Lieu's Nguyễn Van Tai Em to fire away a dangerous shot which Chung Thanh Bình despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
