Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lê Tinh made the kick off which started today's match. Son La's Hoàng Nga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lê Thai, made in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 9th minute Lê Tinh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Hung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Lê Tinh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Trần Hung. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 14th minute, Lê Duc made a precise shot to the right of Trần Hung. Son La's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 18th play minutes Lê Tinh shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Trần Hung and just under the crossbar into goal. Trần Hung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Dung in the 24th minute of the match. Trần Hung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Tinh in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Lê Phuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Hung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Tinh in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Tinh in the 29th minute of play forced Son La's goalkeeper Trần Hung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Hung came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ben Tre's Nguyễn Dung. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Dung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Trần Hung was a little too slow when Nguyễn Dung got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 6-0. Trần Hung stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lê Tinh's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Son La's Trần Hung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Son La from getting a goal against them. Lê Duc succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 42nd playminute. With a little luck, Son La's Trần Hung got control of the ball when Lê Duc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trần Minh Phượng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Trần Hung made a huge save. Trần Hung made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Lê Duc sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Võ Minh made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Son La's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Duc came free, but Trần Hung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Trần Minh Phượng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Hung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Son La's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Minh Phượng came free, but Trần Hung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Ben Tre's Nguyễn Dung made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trần Hung was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trần Hung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Duc went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Son La's Lê Phuc got a free kick in the 77th minute. Lê Duc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Hung having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Duc in the 84th minute of play forced Son La's goalkeeper Trần Hung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Son La's Trần Hung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Dung in the 87th minute of play. Lê Duc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Hung having to interfere. Trần Hung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lê Tinh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Lê Tinh notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Son La's Trần Hung. Trần Hung was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ben Tre had played much better football throughout.
