Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trần Duc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Đinh Teo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Phan Thiet's Liễu Hoa. But to his dismay, Liễu Hoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Trần Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phan Thiet's Huỳnh Bay got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Hung struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Trần Tuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cai Be. Nguyễn Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Trần Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Phan Thiet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Trần Duc fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Trần Ducs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Trần Tuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Đinh Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Bay in the 38th minute of play. Trần Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Tuan having to interfere. Trần Hung could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Trần Tuan made a huge save. Trần Tuan made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Trần Hung sent off a good shot on target. The Cai Be players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Phan Thiet were winning 0-1.
In the 52nd match minute, Cai Be was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Phuong to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Nams short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Đinh Teo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 63 played minutes Phan Thiet got a freekick which was hit by Lê Duc. Nguyễn Nam hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Nam struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Đinh Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phan Thiet. Trần Tuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Hung in the 70th minute of play. Đinh Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Bay in the 77th minute of the match. Huỳnh Bay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Đinh Teo came out and tried to block the shot, but Huỳnh Bay slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 79th minute. Trần Duc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Tuan having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Trần Hung cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Trần Tuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 played minutes Cai Be got a freekick which was hit by Lê Phuong. When Huỳnh Bay came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Phan Thiet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huỳnh Bay couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Nam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Đinh Teo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
