Nguyễn Tuyet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Dong, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 13th match minute, A14K26 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuyet to maneuver through the defense. Lê Lam hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Phạm Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Hoai hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Dong shot from long distance in the 22nd minute, but Huỳnh Duy was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Nguyễn Cong Vinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Hoai in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kontum's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Chuong came free, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A14K26 FC's Huỳnh Duy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save A14K26 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Huỳnh Pham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Phạm Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Tuyet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A14K26 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kontum the free kick. After 41 played minutes A14K26 FC got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Tuyet. 42 minutes into the match, Kontum's Nguyễn Dong broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Phạm Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phạm Dung made a kick off. Phạm Dung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes A14K26 FC got a freekick which was hit by Trần Hoai. Phạm Dung took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huỳnh Duy. Huỳnh Duy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nguyễn Cong Vinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Chuong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lê Lam during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lê Lam hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in A14K26 FC's zone, Phạm Dung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huỳnh Duy came out of the goal and Phạm Dung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kontum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
