Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ngô Phuoc kicked off to start the match. Đỗ Thanh Bình hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Phạm Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Hong having to interfere. Dương Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to machester united getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Đỗ Xuan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Đỗ Xuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. machester united's supporters rose to their feet, but Đỗ Xuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Cong Vinh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kontum booed when machester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thanh Bình didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Kontum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Pham to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kontum getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dương Chung hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Nguyễn Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kontum's Phạm Dung got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dương Chung got free with Nguyễn Hong in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Phạm Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Phạm Dung came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kontum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phạm Dung couldn't finish the play. Phạm Dung received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nguyễn Hong came out and tried to block the shot, but Phạm Dung slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute.
Đỗ Xuan came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nguyễn Cong Vinh could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dương Chung in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. machester united's Ngô Phuoc got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dương Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ngô Phuoc in the 74th minute of play forced Kontum's goalkeeper Nguyễn Cong Vinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dương Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Nguyễn Tuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the machester united and the Kontum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Nguyễn Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Đỗ Xuan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. machester united's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lê Duong kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kontum's Nguyễn Dong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for machester united. In the 89thth minute of the game Phạm Dung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but machester united's Nguyễn Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dương Chung in the 90th minute of play. Nguyễn Cong Vinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ngô Phuoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dương Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kontum had won after a very even match.
