After 62 played minutes củ chi got a freekick which was hit by Lê Cuc. củ chi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Hoàng Cong Vinh scored to the left of an out of position Lê Hong Minh, making the score, 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, củ chi's goalkeeper Lê Hong Minh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hoàng Cong Vinh. củ chi's Lê Hong Minh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save củ chi from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes, Nguyễn Viet made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Da Lat's Võ Chi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Da Lat failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
