Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Lien took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dương Hieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tạ Hung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Bien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Huỳnh Thai's late challenge caught a Thai Binh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Thai helped the player get up and apologised. Nguyễn Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Tuan Hoang having to interfere. Nguyễn Bien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dương Hieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lê Tuan Hoang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Hoang went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Tạ Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Bien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dương Hieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Dương Hieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Bien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nguyễn Liem fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thai Binh's protests and gave Nguyễn Liem a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the match, Thai Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Hoang came free, but Lê Tuan Hoang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dương Hieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Tuan Hoang had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nguyễn Lien from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With an all-out effort, Dong Hung's Lê Tuan Hoang threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Lien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Dương Hieu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nguyễn Bien. In the 78thth minute of the game Dương Hieu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dong Hung's Nguyễn Bien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dong Hung walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
