In the 47th minute of the match, Huỳnh Thai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lê Hong Minh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. củ chi's Lê Hong Minh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save củ chi from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
Huỳnh Thai kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Nguyễn Viet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Nguyễn Bien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nguyễn Bien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ngô Viet, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huỳnh Thai in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Hong Minh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes củ chi got a freekick which was hit by Ngô Viet. củ chi's Lê Hong Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hoang in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Nguyễn Hoang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Hong Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vương Khoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nguyễn Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Huỳnh Nam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Bien skillfully saved the ball. When Nguyễn Hoang came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Dong Hung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Hoang couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute of the match Huỳnh Nam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Bien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. củ chi's Lê Hong Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Lien in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dong Hung fully deserved thier win.
