Thai Binh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TS125 the free kick. A collision led to Thai Binh getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nguyễn Cadeo hit a great ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thai Binh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nguyễn Anh Hung was slow to take the kick. During this time TS125's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on TS125's corner Nguyễn Anh Hung fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lê Tuan Hoang quite easily take care of the ball. Nguyễn Hieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tạ Hung in the 30th minute of play. Nguyễn Hieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Cadeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lê Tuan Hoang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hoai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TS125's Nguyễn Hoai got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Thai Binh's Lê Tuan Hoang got control of the ball when Bùi Nghiêm-Minh tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to TS125 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dương Hieu to make the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Thai Binh's Dương Hieu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Hieu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lê Tuan Hoang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bùi Nghiêm-Minh in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Dương Hieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Hieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Hoai in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Tuan Hoang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tạ Hung was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nguyễn Hieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dương Hieu in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes TS125 got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. Dương Hieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TS125's Nguyễn Hieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dương Hieu in the 100th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Thai Binh eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
