Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Mai got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang in the 4th minute of play forced Can Tho's goalkeeper Phan Cuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Can Tho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Diem to maneuver through the defense. Phạm Quang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lê Ho made a huge save. Binh Duong's Lê Ho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Mai in the 10th minute of play. Lê Diem charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lê Diem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Can Tho got a freekick which was hit by Lê Diem. Binh Duong's Võ Viet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Can Tho. 21 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Dinh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binh Duong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Can Tho the free kick. Nguyễn Dinh hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Lê Ho from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Lê Ho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nguyễn Mai succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Phan Cuc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Dong in the 83rd minute. Lê Ho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phạm Quang in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Nguyễn Mai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Ho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Nguyễn Mai made a precise shot to the right of Lê Ho. Binh Duong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
