Saka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hoàng Loc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trần Van Tai Em recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Saka's Huỳnh Teo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Trần Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Tinh having to interfere. Da Lat's Nguyễn Dong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Da Lat from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
