Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trần Van Tai Em started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, TrongADen's goalkeeper Nguyễn Tuyet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Đỗ Cuc. In the 9th minute, Trần Van Tai Em fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Nguyễn Tuyet. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Đỗ Cuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Da Lat's supporters rose to their feet, but Đỗ Cuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Tuyet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Tuyet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đỗ Cuc in the 20th minute. Nguyễn Tuyet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Van Tai Em, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, TrongADen's Phùng Lien got a free kick in the 26th minute. Trần Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Phuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Đỗ Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. TrongADen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Da Lat the free kick. A collision led to TrongADen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Trần Lam hit a great ball. Nguyễn Thuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nguyễn Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Nguyễn Thuy made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Dong. Da Lat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Thuy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Nguyễn Phuong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TrongADen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Phuong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Dong had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Phan Thi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nguyễn Dong came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by TrongADen's Phan Thi. But to his dismay, Phan Thi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Da Lat's Đỗ Cuc got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trần Van Tai Em, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nguyễn Tuyet was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Nguyễn Thuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Da Lat's goalkeeper Nguyễn Dong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nguyễn Thuy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Dong having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Da Lat got a freekick which was hit by Mai Teo. 88 minutes into the match, TrongADen's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Van Tai Em came free, but Nguyễn Tuyet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Da Lat's Hồ Lam got a free kick in the 91st minute. Nguyễn Dong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Phuong in the 92nd minute. Nguyễn Tuyet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Van Tai Em in the 95th minute of play. Nguyễn Phuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nguyễn Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
