Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Phuong started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute, Nguyễn Phuong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Đinh Van Quyen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TrongADen's Nguyễn Tuyet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Hieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thanh Bình, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Trần Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nam Dinh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Duc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Thanh Bình struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nguyễn Hieu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TrongADen. Nguyễn Phuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nguyễn Hieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đinh Van Quyen in the 31st minute of the match. After 35 played minutes TrongADen got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Cadeo. Nguyễn Tuyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đinh Van Quyen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Hieu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by TrongADen's Nguyễn Thanh Bình. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Thanh Bình quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in TrongADen's zone, Trần Duc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Tuyet came out of the goal and Trần Duc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
54 minutes into the match, Nam Dinh's goalkeeper Nguyễn Hieu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Thanh Bình. If Nguyễn Phuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Huỳnh Khoi during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Trần Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nam Dinh getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Trần Dung hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Trần Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Trần Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of TrongADen booed when Nam Dinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Bien didn't get a good kick on the ball. TrongADen's Phan Thi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nguyễn Hieu but with some difficulty. Nguyễn Hieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuong, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Nguyễn Phuong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The TrongADen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
