After 11 minutes, Nguyễn Phong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the leo max and the Beast players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Nguyễn Phong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Đỗ Nhật Minh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tôn Nga in the 12th minute. Beast's Vũ Tấn Dũng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Nam in the 16th minute of play. Võ Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vũ Tấn Dũng having to interfere. When Nguyễn Phong was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes in the game, Trần Tuan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Đỗ Nhật Minh having to interfere. The Beast fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Beast's Tôn Nga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Trần Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Tuan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Đỗ Nhật Minh came out and tried to block the shot, but Trần Tuan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. Võ Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Đỗ Nhật Minh made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tôn Nga sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Trần Tuan made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Trần Tuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Đỗ Nhật Minh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Trần Hoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute.
