In the 30th minute, Tôn Nga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vũ Tấn Dũng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thuyet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Beast's zone, Nguyễn Thuyet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vũ Tấn Dũng came out of the goal and Nguyễn Thuyet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lê Phu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vũ Tấn Dũng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Thai was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Trần Tuan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Trần Tuan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Trần Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Thuyet made a kick off. Lê Phu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Beast's keeper Vũ Tấn Dũng was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Trần Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Phan Thai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beast's goalkeeper Vũ Tấn Dũng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tôn Nga came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Beast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tôn Nga couldn't finish the play. Trần Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Thai having to interfere. The supporters of Beast booed when Lang Son was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lưu Huỳnh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trần Tuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trần Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Phan Thai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Beast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Dinh to maneuver through the defense. Vũ Tấn Dũng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Nhật Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 played minutes Lang Son got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Teo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lang Son players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Beast.
