Hanoi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Đặng Quang Thanh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đoàn Quang in the 24th minute of the match. Vương Tuyet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lý Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Đỗ Thi Ngoc hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes Dak Lak got a freekick which was hit by Chung Hoai. The supporters of Hanoi FC booed when Dak Lak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Dung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Binh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Dung could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Đặng Quang Thanh made a huge save. Phan Thien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Đặng Quang Thanh made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nguyễn Dung sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chung Hoai got free with Đặng Quang Thanh in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute Nguyễn Dung suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nguyễn Binh's late challenge caught a Dak Lak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee ignored Dak Lak's protests and gave Nguyễn Dong a yellow card for diving instead. Nguyễn Dong kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
