Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Thuyet got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đoàn Quang in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phan Thai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lê Thi Ngoc kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Dak Lak got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Dong. When Nguyễn Thuyet came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lang Son fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Thuyet couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Dak Lak's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lê Phu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Nguyễn Thuyet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phan Thien was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Lê Phu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 24 minutes into the match, Dak Lak's Chung Hoai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phan Thai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Dak Lak's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thuyet came free, but Phan Thien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Nguyễn Nam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chung Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Phan Thai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Teo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Teo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Teo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Phan Thai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chung Hoai in the 44th minute of the match. Chung Hoai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Đoàn Quang made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Thuyet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phan Thien. Dak Lak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Thuyet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lê Phu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Phan Thien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lang Son. Chung Hoai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Thai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đoàn Quang in the 64th minute of play forced Lang Son's goalkeeper Phan Thai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nguyễn Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dak Lak's Vũ Minh Phượng got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Vũ Minh Phượng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dak Lak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lang Son the free kick. Vũ Minh Phượng hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Nguyễn Nhật Minh shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Dak Lak's Phan Thien to catch but Nguyễn Nhật Minh was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Lê Phu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lang Son fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Phu couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Thuyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Thien having to interfere. In the 77th minute Đoàn Quang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phan Thai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dak Lak's Đoàn Quang in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lang Son's goalie prevented a goal. Lang Son's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
