Lê Phu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Văn Liem, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 80th minute of the match Huỳnh Tran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ngô Mai skillfully saved the ball. Văn Liem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trịnh Hieu Ngan's late challenge caught a Hải Dương's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
