Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Trần Huy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hai Duong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Huy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes Phuong Uyen got a freekick which was hit by Bùi Phuoc. In the 11th match minute, Phuong Uyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Viet to maneuver through the defense. Đặng Lien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Hung in the 13th minute of play. When Hai Duong's Trần Huy in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Huỳnh Huỳnh guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bùi Dong during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hai Duong getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bùi Dong hit a great ball. Đặng Lien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Võ Hung, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Huy in the 25th minute of play forced Phuong Uyen's goalkeeper Huỳnh Huỳnh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phuong Uyen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Trần Huy scored to the left of an out of position Huỳnh Huỳnh, making the score, 2-0. Hai Duong's Đặng Lien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ngô Tuyet in the 45th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trần Huy was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dương Xuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ngô Tuyet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Đặng Lien having to make a save. Trần Huy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Huỳnh having to interfere. Võ Hung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phạm Huỳnh kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Trần Hieu Ngan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huỳnh Huỳnh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Hai Duong's Trần Huy made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huỳnh Huỳnh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Võ Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Đặng Lien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bùi Dong hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Võ Hung in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đặng Lien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hai Duong's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
